Geographical scope

  1. Foreign cover: Insurance cover exists for liability claims which are asserted before courts of the states of Europe, Turkey, the Russian Federation and other states of the former Soviet Union as well as non-European territories of European states, the EU or the EEA and which are based on the violation of the law of these states. For liability claims arising from the policyholder’s claims in courts of states not mentioned here, the obligation to pay benefits is only in the amount of the legally prescribed minimum liability insurance sum.
  2. Worldwide cover for business auditing activities: This includes the legal liability worldwide arising from business auditing activities if the contract between the policyholder and his client is based solely on German law. In these cases, the obligation to perform is limited to the legally prescribed minimum liability insurance sum.
  3. Worldwide coverage business help in tax matters: Includes the legal liability worldwide arising from business assistance in tax matters if the contract between the Insured and his client is based solely on German law. In such cases, the obligation to pay benefits is limited to the legally prescribed minimum sum insured.
